The benchmark index of Jordan bourse rose by 0.23% at Wednesday’s session and closed at 2120.91 points.

During Wednesday’s session, total of 8.1 million shares were traded through 3,934 transactions at a turnover of JOD 9.4 million.

Out of 130 companies participated in trading, 41 rose, 37 declined, while the remaining ones kept flat.

Moreover, the three sectors increased at the session’s close. The services sector rose by 0.71%, the industrial sector added 0.27% and the financial sector soared by 0.04%.

The top three gainers were, the International Cards Company by 6.06%, Middle East Specialized Cables Company/mesc_jordan Plc by 5.26% and Alia- The Royal Jordanian Airlines Plc. by 5.13%.

On the other hand, the top three losers were, Taameer Jordan Holdings Public Shareholding Company by 6.67%, Ibn Alhaytham Hospital Company by 6.61% and Al-manara Insurance Plc.co. by 5.88%.

It is worth mentioning that at yesterday session’s close, the benchmark index of Amman Stock Exchange declined by 0.52% and closed the session in the red at 2116.10 points, hurt by the decline of all sectors.
